Alongisde a photo of herself sitting on a bed and draped in a blanket, she wrote: "Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won't be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. But before contestants get a chance to put on bigger and better acts in the live episodes, there is going to be a slight interruption.

Viewers may have caught the announcement made by host Terry Crews last Tuesday in the beginning of the episode. After the Summer Games were postponed due to the international impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the event that traditionally happens every four years is here once again. America's Got Talent took a similar break throughout the month of August in for the Rio Olympics. In total, there will be events spanning over two weeks. In the meantime, you can tune into the highly anticipated Tokyo events, which began with the opening ceremony last Friday.
